And this is a shortcut: get your mind busy. Long straight highways can give the impression that the road goes on forever. You can talk to someone who has been on a trip or a podcast to keep your mind busy. Don’t go too far, though. Over stimulation of the mind will actually do the reverse of what you desire, you will be even more fatigued. Do not turn the discussion into a hot-blooded debate that will drain your resources.
